A fund for agricultural research
What is LIEVITI
LIEVITI is a fund created to support research projects in the agricultural field, promoted by XFARM Agricoltura Prossima with the support of Fondazione con il Sud through the 2019 Confiscated Goods grant.
LIEVITI finances and supports research pathways aimed at expanding knowledge of agricultural, ecological, scientific, technical, economic, social, and cultural dynamics of interest to XFARM Agricoltura Prossima and its partner organizations. These projects are not connected to specific or immediate commercial or productive objectives.
LIEVITI promotes research projects on the following topics:
- Organic and regenerative agriculture
- Circular economy
- Protection and enhancement of biodiversity
- Social and community agriculture
- Technology for agriculture and Agriculture 4.0
- Agricultural cooperation, land association, agrarian economy, and rural development
- New models for food production and distribution
- Food and health
What we are looking for
In this first phase, XFARM Agricoltura Prossima is seeking scientific and technical partners (universities, research centers, companies, etc.) who want to support research projects by co-financing and/or sharing resources, equipment, and personnel in topics of interest to LIEVITI.
Subsequently, in January 2022, XFARM Agricoltura Prossima will open one or more calls for researchers interested in joining LIEVITI with their own research proposal.

To express interest in participating in LIEVITI as a partner, send an email to info@xfarm.me with the subject: “LIEVITI / Partner Proposal,” attaching a summary document that outlines: Write to us now at info@xfarm.me
oggetto: “LIEVITI / Proposta partner”;
Attachment: a brief document outlining the objectives of the proposed research project, the resources to be shared (human, technical, and financial), the state of the art of the research if already initiated, etc.
All proposing organizations will be contacted for an in-depth interview to evaluate mutual interest in building a shared research pathway.
