Scuola Radicale is a permanent learning laboratory promoted by XFARM Agricoltura Prossima, organized into theoretical and practical courses and workshops. We use the transformation process of the company and its ecological, productive, and social processes as a learning environment for XFARM workers and the new protagonists of the emerging agricultural scene in Southern Italy.

The aim of Scuola Radicale is to build a community of mutual learning capable of learning, experimenting, promoting, and exchanging good agro-ecological and social practices.

The themes of Scuola Radicale are:

• Sustainable management of olive groves and vineyards;
• Theory and practice of organic and regenerative agriculture;
• Prototipazione e sviluppo di nuove idee imprenditoriali in ambito agro-ecologico;
• Prototyping and development of new entrepreneurial ideas in the agro-ecological field;

The first experiment of Scuola Radicale was carried out as part of the project ‘From Agro-mafias to Social Agriculture’ promoted by the Cooperativa Sociale Qualcosa di Diverso, Cooperativa Sociale Libera Terra – Terre di Puglia, and AIM2000, funded by the “P.O.R. Puglia FESR FSE 2014-2020 – Axis IX – Action 9.6” – Notice n. 2/2017 ‘Innovative Anti-Mafia Social Sites: Education for Active Citizenship and Improvement of the Urban Fabric’.

For Christmas 2021, Scuola Radicale presented the IL CESTO RADICALE, a Christmas basket featuring products made by the farmers and farmworkers who are protagonists of the new agricultural scene in Puglia.
