Agroecology School for Next Farmers

WHAT IS IT?
The “Agroecology School for Next Farmers” is a free training course, part of the Re-AGES project promoted by the Qualcosa di Diverso cooperative, together with Deafal, thanks to the support of the 8×1000 funds from the Italian Buddhist Institute Soka Gakkai. Italian Buddhist Institute Soka Gakkai.
It is an Agro-Eco-Logical Training Course, based on principles of interrelation, regeneration, creativity and natural intelligence, designed for 6 young people [aged 18-40] who identify themselves as “close” to ecological agriculture, both in terms of attitude [proximity to the agricultural sector and motivation to take action] as well as geographical proximity [residence or domicile in the Province of Brindisi and surrounding areas].

These are the thematic modules that structure the course content, which will be defined together with the participants selected among those who apply to participate. In addition to ensuring a consistent technical and theoretical foundation, the lectures will be developed collectively, based on the interests and needs of the class and in relation to the specific characteristics of the territory.
A total of 180 hours of training, distributed as follows:
- 64 hours of Frontal and theoretical lessons
divided into 16 different sessions of 4 hours each; -
86 hours of in-the-field Practical training
- 30 hours dedicated to the development of Personal Projects
