The poultry farm at XFarm Agricoltura Prossima experiments with the combination of laying hens and olive trees.
The hens roam freely in the shade of the olive trees, helping with weeding, fertilization, and the recovery of biodiversity. The coops are mobile and are periodically moved to different areas of the olive grove to ensure controlled and sustainable grazing, promote soil fertility, and improve the health of the plants.
